The value cards help you clarify your values.

Have you ever wondered why some people do what they do? Personal values describe what we think is important in life. Even if we are not aware of our own personal values, they are there every day and influence our attitudes towards the outside world and behaviors in everyday life.

This deck of cards helps you find out what your personal values are and makes them visible.

You can use the cards in the work team, in the family or for your own personal development. Three ways to use the Value Cards are described below.



1. Check-in with evaluation card
Purpose: Getting to know each other more deeply in the group as well as self-reflection on which value is important to me right now.

Group size: 3 - 8 people

Time required: 30 minutes (based on 8 people)

Preparation: Lay all the cards face up on a table. Ask the participants to stand around the table.

Implementation

Choose one or two scorecards that are important to you right now. There are of course more values that are important, but pick out the ones you want to share with the group.

Go around the team and let each one tell about their value, please describe why this value is important to you. Do you have it with you from childhood? Are you energized by the assessment? Is the rating visible to others? How is the valuation expressed?

Finish with a reflection round. How did it feel to share your value and what was it like to listen to others.
